Tomato Chutney recipe Hi Everyone , today i share you tomato chutney recipe in video and as well as content post here.
Basically we all do tomato chutney mean we add onion ,but here i share a easy and tasty tomato chutney .This taste is can suit for idli ,dosa , chapati as well as curd rice.
1. Tomato - 1/4 kg
2. Gingerly oil - 2 Tsp
3. Mustard seed - 1small sp
4. Urad dal - 1small sp
5. Asafoetida - Little
6. Cumin seed - 1small sp
7. Fenugreek seed - 1/2 half sp
8. Green chill - 10 -15
9. Curry Leaves
10. Turmeric powder
11. Salt - 1/2 sp
12. Kashmiri chilly powder - 1/2 sp
13. Jaggery - little (optional )
14. Kasoori methi - little
HOW TO MAKE TOMATO CHUTNEY AT HOME COOKING INSTRUCTION
1. Add gingerly oil on pressure cooker , and saute mustard seed , Urad dal , asafoetida ,Cumin seed, Fenugreek seed , green chilli ,Curry leaves one by one on low flame .
2. Add Tomatoes , salt , Turmeric powder and Kashmiri chilly powder . Don't need to add water . Close the cooker for 1 whistle .
3. After tomato cooked in 1 whistle open it and , again keep low flame for 1 minute to become a thick chutney add jaggery little it give a taste high for this chutney . And finally add Kasoori methi and switch off the stove .
4. Serve with Idli , Dosa or Chapati and Enjoy :-)
