Ingredients :
Ivy gourd - 500 kg
Onion - 1
Salt -1 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves
Turmeric powder
Kulambu powder - one teaspoon
Coconut - 2 tbsp
Fennel seed- 1/4 tsp
Roasted peanuts - Grind little
Mustard seeds, and cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
Dry red chili 2
Garlic - 4 chopped
Gingelly Oil for cooking
How to cook :
- Grind coarsely : two table spoons of roasted peanuts
- Make a paste of coconut and Fennel seed
- Chop a large onion in medium
- Wash and Chop the Ivy Gourd in round shape and - add salt, Curry leaves and Turmeric powder.
- 4 garlic cloves finely chopped.
1. Pour a little Gingelly Oil in a pan and add the Ivy gourd to it and lightly fry it. Just sprinkle a handful of water and let it boil
2. Put a teaspoon of Aachi kulambu powder in it and fry it
3. After all the raw smell goes, the vegetable becomes in the cooking stage (cook the vegetable with a covered lid ) and add coconut paste to it. Keep the stove in medium.
To saute
4. After that, take another fry pan, pour a little oil and add mustard urad dal. Add two dry red chili and garlic.add a big chopped onion roast in medium.After the onions are sauteed well ( add to the Ivy goud masala)
Now It’s ready to serve with the rice side-dish.
